Education for the future

Bettina Würth established Freie Schule Anne-Sophie in Künzelsau in 2006 as an independent all-day school with its own educational concept. At the heart of its philosophy is the idea that no child must be overlooked at Freie Schule Anne-Sophie. The bilingual sister school in Berlin opened in 2011. Today, more than 1,000 students attend the two schools. The Würth Foundation is the supporting organization of Freie Schule Anne-Sophie.

Every child should leave Freie Schule Anne-Sophie as a winner.

The state-accredited Freie Schule Anne-Sophie offers comprehensive primary and secondary education: from elementary school to high school graduation (German Abitur). In doing so, the school focuses on the personal development of each child in order to promote their social skills, individual performance, and individual development path. The goal: Every child should leave the school as a winner. Everyday school life includes small learning groups, personal development opportunities, the routine use of digital media, and a supportive learning environment.

Freie Schule Anne-Sophie has two locations in Germany:
  • Berlin: Bilingual all-day school (elementary school, middle school and high school)
  • Künzelsau: All-day school (elementary school, middle school and high school)
