Winner of German Design Award 2018 - Innovative Würth MODYF safety shoe wins German Design Award
Künzelsau, 20 October 2017. The Würth MODYF slip-on safety shoe Stretchfit S1P was nominated for the German Design Award 2018 in Frankfurt am Main back in July. The German Design Award is an internationally recognized competition for innovative product and communication designs. The mission of this award is discovering and presenting outstanding design trends to a wider audience. The nominees are chosen by an international jury consisting of 43 experts from Germany, China, the UK, Hong Kong, Italy, Sweden, Turkey and the USA. All product innovations entered in the competition must represent pioneering solutions in terms of durability, overall concept, design, quality, technical functions or special features.
Winner in the “Workshop and Tools” category
The laceless Würth MODYF slip-on safety shoe S1P was initially nominated from among 5,000 entries for the “Workshop and Tools” category of the 2018 German Design Award and now announced as the category winner.
The awards are presented by the German Design Council, the expert panel for brand and design in Germany, on 7 February 2018. The winner may use the official label without restrictions in all communication and adverting measures for the winning entry.
