Würth Group acquires TOGE Dübel A. Gerhard KG

Künzelsau. The Würth Group signed the purchasing agreement for the acquisition of all shares of TOGE Dübel A. Gerhard KG located in Nuremberg and thus completed the transfer of shares. Würth and TOGE can look back on a long-standing business relationship.

The company currently has 27 employees on the payroll and will in future do business under the name of TOGE Dübel GmbH & Co. KG as independent Allied Company of the Würth Group. Allied Companies are businesses belonging to the Würth Group that are close to the Würth Group's core business or service diversified business units. "Being a part of the Würth Group will it make it easier for us to be more competitive in the future", says Andreas Gerhard, managing director of TOGE.

The business acquisition strengthens Würth's core competence in the field of assembly technology. "We are already very active in the field of manufacturing plastic, metal and chemical dowels. We are pleased to be able to expand our production by concrete screws. The acquisition not only rounds off our activities so far, but perfectly matches our strategic thrust", says Thomas Klenk, Executive Vice President responsible for the field of dowel production within the Würth Group.

Apart from the manufacturing of metal anchors for the fixing of windows, radiators, ceilings as well as insulation and fire protection panels, TOGE ranks among the pioneers of concrete screw technology. All products of the business are in-house developments and are for the most part manufactured in Nuremberg directly.
