The Federal Minister Dr. Philipp Rösler visits Würth
Künzelsau. Dr. Philipp Rösler, Federal Minister of Economics and Technology, visited the Würth Group headquartered in Künzelsau on Wednesday, 21 August 2013. In a tour of the company premises he got to know the Würth Museum and the logistics centers of the company.
As a result of his visit the Federal Minister received a comprehensive impression of one of the largest family businesses of Baden-Wuerttemberg. Federal Minister Dr. Philipp Rösler: "The company Würth is a real family business that "thinks" in generations and is deeply rooted in the region. Family businesses like Würth are the growth engines of our economy. They show a high degree of entrepreneurial spirit and a permanent readiness for innovation. The government of the Federal Republic promotes exactly such characteristics, as it wants new start-ups to be established in Germany that maybe take a similar development like the Würth Group. A company like the Würth Group benefits, without any doubt, from the location Germany, from its well-educated specialists, its infrastructure, strong suppliers, open markets and the reliable general political conditions."
In the morning, the Federal Minister talked to the Central Managing Board of the Würth Group and the Managing Directors of Adolf Würth GmbH & Co. KG. "We are highly pleased to welcome the Federal Minister of Economics and Technology as our guest and to be given the opportunity to introduce our company as well as the region of Hohenlohe to him," said Robert Friedmann, Chairman of the Central Managing Board of the Würth Group.
After being welcomed by Stefan Neumann, mayor of the town of Künzelsau, the Federal Minister was presented the current exhibition of the Würth Museum as well as the logistics centers in Gaisbach in a guided tour.
