Sustainability in the Würth Group
Sustainability at Würth Group
As a family-owned business, thinking and acting long-term are deeply ingrained in our DNA. We are guided by the principle of treating our fellow human beings and the Earth’s resources in a responsible manner. We strive for placing our set of values and our culture on a basis that does justice to future generations.
With the innovative products, ideas and projects of our more than 400 companies in over 80 countries worldwide, we are well-prepared to help make the world a better place and do our share to achieve the 1.5-degrees target of the Paris Agreement. Being ready for a circular economy, becoming carbon-neutral and providing for social and generational justice: these are all basic values that chart the general course of the Würth Group into a more sustainable future. We focus all our actions on the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations.
First sustainability report of the Würth Group
Currently, we are working on the first sustainability report of the Würth Group, that will show our employees, our customers, our suppliers and our further business partners in a transparent manner how strong we are performing in the field of sustainability. Our sustainability magazine THE CIRCULAR WAY is providing the essentials and illustrates what sustainability means for the Würth Group and what projects have so far been implemented.
