1. Registration, number of participants
Unless stated otherwise in the seminar description, seminars will only be held with at least six participants. Unless stated otherwise in the seminar description, the maximum number of participants is usually twelve. Exceptions to this are not always avoidable and do not entitle participants to a discount. Registrations are processed in the order in which they are received. Upon receipt of the registration, the contractual partner receives a written confirmation of the registration by which the contract between the contractual partner and Würth comes into effect. In the case of fully booked seminars, there is an option to be added to the waiting list. In spite of being booked on the waiting list, the contractual partner is obliged to firmly schedule the corresponding date. In case of cancellation, the provisions of section 5 shall apply. The contractual partner may book the seminars offered by Würth either for themselves or for one of their employees (hereinafter referred to as participant).
2. Seminar hours
The seminar hours are communicated in the seminar invitation. Breaks are included.
3. Seminar location
Seminars are held at Group headquarters in Künzelsau-Gaisbach or at Würth House Rorschach. The exact venue is communicated with the seminar invitation, which is sent out around four to six weeks before the seminar begins.
4. Costs
All prices are net prices without the statutory VAT applicable at the time the service is rendered. Unless specified otherwise in the program description, the price of a seminar includes the actual training, training materials, documents, handouts, certificate of participation, catering as planned in the agenda, leisure programs (if applicable) and the necessary transfers during the seminar. The price of an in-house training is based on the service specified in the underlying offer. Travel and accommodation costs are not included in the seminar costs, unless stated otherwise.
5. Cancellation by participant
Seminar cancellations must be made in writing. For cancellations received up to seven calendar days before the start of the seminar, there is the right to rescind the contract free of charge. In the event of cancellation after this date or non-attendance (for example, due to illness), full participation fees will be charged. We accept a replacement participant at no additional cost.
6. Cancellation by Würth
Würth has the right to cancel the event for cause, particularly if the moderator/trainer is ill, the number of participants is too low, or due to circumstances beyond the reasonable control of Würth. In the event of an insufficient number of participants, the contractual partner shall be notified at least seven working days before the event begins. In the event of cancellation of an event due to illness of the moderator/trainer, force majeure or any other unforeseeable events, participants shall not be entitled to the performance of the event. Likewise, in the event of seminar cancellation or postponement of the same, Würth is not obliged to assume any travel and accommodation costs nor any expenses incurred due to loss of working hours.
7. Certificate of attendance
Upon successful completion of the seminar, the contractual partner and/or the individual participants receive a certificate of attendance for the seminar.
8. In-house seminars
In the case of in-house seminars, the contractual partner is responsible for equipping the seminar rooms with tables and chairs, projectors, screens, flip charts, pin boards and moderation material, as well as for complying with safety regulations and accident prevention regulations. Individual agreements are made in the offer. In the case of cancellation up to two weeks prior to the seminar date, 50 percent of the offer price will be charged. The full price in the offer must be paid for cancellations up to one week prior to the seminar date.
9. Warranty
The seminars are carefully prepared and conducted according to the state of knowledge and technology. All seminars are held by experienced moderators/trainers. Materials and seminar documents are prepared according to the latest findings. However, Würth assumes no liability for the correctness and accuracy of the training contents and documents. Würth reserves the right to make necessary changes in content or organization before or during the event, provided that they do not significantly change the overall character of the event. If necessary, Würth shall be entitled to replace the initially planned moderator(s)/trainer(s) and/or seminar host(s) with an equally qualified substitute(s).
10. Copyright/Rights of Use
All rights of use and copyrights to the training documents provided shall remain with Würth. They may not be reproduced for distribution to third parties, with the exception of the reproduction of programs for the purpose of data backup. Customers may only make a copy of the document for themselves and use it exclusively for their own purposes if their original document is no longer usable as a result of damage or destruction. Printed documents or parts thereof must not be reprinted or imitated. Seminar and training material or parts thereof must not be passed at any time to third parties by means of photos or electronic transmission without prior written permission. The same applies to translations of seminar and training documents.
11. Data protection
Personal data of the contractual partners and participants shall be processed electronically for internal purposes. Data provided with the registration shall be stored in compliance with data protection regulations. For the duration of the contractual relationship, Würth and its affiliated companies within the meaning of Section 15 of the German Stock Corporation Act (Aktiengesetz) may store and use personal data of the contractual partners and participants electronically in compliance with applicable data protection regulations.
