Künzelsau. Professor Reinhold Würth is going to withdraw from the chair of the Advisory Board of the Würth Group. This is what the 70-year-old entrepreneur of the worldwide biggest company trading with connecting and assembly technology announced at a regular meeting of the Advisory Board last Friday. As of March 1, 2006 his daughter Bettina (44) is going to take the chair of the Advisory Board of the Würth Group. “I do not want to work seven days a week any more, but only two or three”, explained Reinhold Würth his decision.

The Advisory Board of the Würth Group is the supreme supervisory and control body of the Künzelsau-based trading business. Already in 1994, Reinhold Würth had withdrawn from operative business. Since that time he has been the Chairman of the Advisory Board. Reinhold Würth will stay the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the four Würth Family Foundations that hold all Group participations.
