Würth founds independent school
Classes in the private school will start as early as in the academic year of 2006/2007 in the rooms of the former Künzelsau Agricultural School am Zollstock - Ulrike von Klitzing will assume the position of principal of the independent school
Künzelsau/Hohenlohe Region. At the beginning of the academic year 2006/2007, the Würth Group will start a private school in Künzelsau. The initiator of the project "Independent Anne-Sophie School" is Bettina Würth, member of the Board of Directors of the Würth Group.
For a year now, a circle of educationalists under the direction of Bettina Würth has been preparing the foundation of a private school in Künzelsau. The pedagogical concept of the independent private school has already been elaborated, and the corresponding applications to operate such an institution have already been submitted to the education authorities. "We presume," states initiator Bettina Würth, "that we can start our classes in September 2006. The private school will first of all use the buildings of the former Künzelsau Agricultural School. However, the initiators plan to build a new edifice as soon as suitable real estate has been found.
The private school will be run as an all-day school. Later the elementary school is to be extended with two parallel classes. Ulrike von Klitzing, who, at present, is the principal of the Reinhold Würth Elementary School in Künzelsau-Gaisbach, will be the principal of the "Independent Anne Sophie School".
