Würth Group inaugurates new site in Canada
Künzelsau/Guelph. The Canadian subsidiary of the Würth Group, Würth Canada Limited, has moved into a new head office situated in Guelph, Ontario. With the new building that houses an administrative part and a distribution center, Würth Canada Limited has laid the logistic basis for the future growth of the company. At the inauguration ceremony on 13 September 2014, Prof. Dr. h. c. mult. Reinhold Würth, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Würth Group's Family Trusts, as well as Members of the Central Managing Board of the Würth Group, officially opened the new head office together with the management of the Canadian subsidiary.

Our new building stands for high environmental standards, ergonomic workplaces and an even better service for our customers" explained Ernest Sweeney, President and C.E.O of Würth Canada Limited. "Both our customers and our employees will benefit greatly from the state-of-the-art building. It will make their everyday work easier.“
When constructing the new head office the company put special emphasis on introducing an ergonomic work environment and taking ecological aspects into account. Automatic processes and the use of highly modern technology lead to a reduction of power consumption. The complex consists of an administrative part covering a total area of 2,433.69 square meters and a logistics center of 6,833.76 square meters surface area.
Würth Canada was set up in Montreal, Quebec, in 1971. Its head office had been located in Mississauga, Ontario, from 1986 to August 2014. Würth Canada Limited have 467 employees on their payroll, 400 of which are permanently employed sales representatives. In 2013, the Canadian subsidiary generated sales of 100 million dollars.
