Getting your career started: 355 up-and-coming staff start their training at Würth

Künzelsau. With the new training year, 355 up-and-coming staff will start their professional career at 48 German companies of the Würth Group. The Group will, thus, employ a total of 899 trainees in Germany.

At Würth, there is a long tradition of training up-and-coming staff. The company considers the qualification of employees an important means to safeguarding the future. “It is absolutely vital for the further growth of the company that suitable graduates get off to a good start into their professional life and that they are integrated well into the company”, says Thomas Wagner, Head of the Training Department of Adolf Würth GmbH & Co. KG, the parent company of the Würth Group.

Adolf Würth GmbH & Co. KG alone welcomes 108 trainees. Fifty of them will work at Würth's branch offices throughout Germany. Thereby, the company further strengthens its core competence in that area.

Wide range of training possibilities

The Würth Group provides training in more than 60 different professions all over Germany, among others commercial, logistics and IT apprenticeships. In addition to that, first-time employees may take a bachelor’s degree at Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University. Training in the German Group companies also centers on technical as well as on catering professions.

Purposeful training

Training at Würth does not only convey specialized knowledge but also fosters soft skills and personal development. Components such as work-out activities in the sales force, internships at European Würth companies as well as work at social institutions are an important part of Adolf Würth GmbH & Co. KG’s training plan. What is more, Würth also offers various qualification measures for on-the-job training after the apprenticeship has been completed, among others bachelor and MBA programs.
