In September 2009 the WorldSkills Championships took place in Calgary (Canada). More than 900 trainees and high potentials aged 22 or under from 50 countries tested themselves against high international standards at the largest competition of its kind in the world.

Participants in Calgary were able to make direct and gainful use of our assembly competence. For instance, Würth products were put to good use throughout the competition by teams from Spain, Finland, Australia and Austria.

Finished! The hard work paid off. Tobias Bohnert and Andreas Waldvogel bring home a gold medal.
